Flash Client Version 2.5 Official Release

PitbullPoker is pleased to announce the official release of version 2.5 of our gaming client. The new client has many new features including new graphics and the capability to resize the gaming client up to full screen.

Flash Client v2.0 Beta Test

After the release of our new flash client, we have received some reports of problems with the communications that have affected some players.

We have decided to place the new version back into beta, while we fix this issue. We estimate the fix will take 2-3 weeks to complete and test.

After many months of development, we are pleased to invite you to help test our new flash poker client. Click on this link to launch the client.

Version 2.0 has many new features such as vector graphics, full screen view and the capability to resize game windows to play multiple games in the viewable area of your desktop.

If you experience any issues, please report them to customer support or use the ‘Feedback’ link that is located in the game window. We would also appreciate it if you could tell us what you like and dislike about the new software. We enjoy reading your comments and use many of them.

The old client is still available by clicking on the ‘Click Here to Play’ logo in the top right. If you experience problems, please use the old client and inform us of the issue.

Hosting Move to Panama Complete!

PitbullPoker is pleased to announce that we have successfully moved our servers to a new hosting facility in Panama City. Moving into Panama will bring us the network performance that we require for our online poker software. Good network performance is essential to playing online poker since so many ‘messages’ are sent when playing a game. We previously had our servers located in Costa Rica where we conduct our operations.

Moving our Servers to Panama
December 11th, 2006

This week we will be moving our servers to a hosting facility in Panama. We expect to be down for about 4 hours the night we do the move. The move is scheduled for this Wednesday at 5am ET. However, it may be pushed back to Thursday if any unforeseen issues arise. We will update this announcement once the times are finalized.

Over the past months we have had some network performance issues having our servers hosted in Costa Rica where our operations are located. You may have noticed some slow responses 'lag' when playing. The telecommunications in Panama are 1st class and we know this will solve our network performance issues. We are very excited to make the move! In addition to moving the hosting to Panama, we are also adding 4 more servers to our current setup for increased performance and redundancy.

Poker Leagues
July 6th, 2006

PitbullPoker has officially launched our Poker Leagues feature, allowing players to compete against each other over a series of Tournaments. Players are ranked in the League based on their final positions in the tournaments and the top players will share in an overall prize pool at the end of each Season. We are very excited about this new feature as we are the first Poker site to ever offer this functionality. We will also be allowing people to form their own private Leagues in the near future, so you can invite only the players you wish to have in your league. Rebuy and $1 Tournaments

PitbullPoker is pleased to announce that we have added rebuy tournament functionality to our software. Starting May 2nd we will be offering multiple rebuy and add-on tournaments. In addition, we have added $1 buy-in tournaments, which have been very popular on other sites. The more people who enter the higher the pot, so make sure to give them a try.
